20th century French photographer Jacques Henri Lartigue is best known for his black-and-white photographs of the European chic in the 1920s and ’30s, His work in color is yet to be discovered. Using autochrome and later color film, he snapped photos of friends and family, capturing colors at their most vibrant: eye-popping reds, electric blues, emerald-greens. “For me, life and color are indissociable,” he said.
